We use the extremely robust polyamide fabric with 210D for the weight-reduced Lite models in the Rise series. Thanks to the dense and extremely fine structure of the fabric, both of the polyamide fabrics are extremely tear and abrasion resistant. The double PU coating protects from moisture with a water column of 1500 mm.
Woven from 600 denier polyester yarn and with a thick PU coating, this tear resistant and light fabric is highly versatile. Whenever it’s about keeping the weight of the backpack as low as possible with moderate stress, then this is the ideal solution. The “deuter Super Polytex BS” version is produced in compliance with the stringent bluesign® standard. Its features and stress factors are identical.

Our Aircontact trekking backpack has won the title of “indestructible”. Therefore, we have opted for gentle changes: It is extremely robust, but now it is even neater, more modern and streamlined when trekking. And even more comfortable: Thanks to the new, flexible, suspended Active Fit shoulder straps and the re-designed hip fins, the backpack moulds itself comfortably around the wearer – for noticeably more comfort. For women, the new system is equipped with the tried and tested features of the SL fit. In addition, there is now the new 70+10 SL model.
Clearly: less is more! The new Guide Lite with its simple features and clear design is lightweight and easy to use. And if you want to save a few extra grams of weight on your day trip, simply leave the removable waist strap and the lid at home. Because with the small wings on the shoulder strap attachments, the rucksack sits tight and close to the body with every climbing movement. Full concentration ahead!
