Compact and simple coffee grinder
The simple way to enjoy the best taste of coffee is to grind the beans just before brewing. The compact and simple grinder “Grit” was developed so that the best taste can be enjoyed anywhere. The ceramic blade does not generate frictional heat, so the original flavor of the beans is not compromised. The grinder can be easily adjusted with a dial from coarse to fine grind, and can grind up to 20 g (=1-2 cups of coffee) of beans at a time.
-New ceramic blade that grinds beans faster and with a consistent grain size
The biggest improvement over the previous model is the new ceramic blade, which was created by reviewing the molding method. It allows to grind beans quickly at about 80% of the speed of the previous model, and make the grain size more consistent, which determines the taste of the coffee.
-New logo design and simpler appearance
In renewing the blade, we also reviewed the design. The silicon band, which is the face of Grit, now has a simpler Rivers logo. The product code, which was only on the silver color handle, is now engraved on the matte black handle too. The printing on the bottom has also been eliminated to create a simpler appearance.

The silicone band is the iconic part of the Grit, which is easy to hold onto when grinding beans. Since the handle can be hold to the silicon band, you don’t have to worry about the grinder’s body gets scratched when it’s stored.
