We use the extremely robust polyamide fabric with 210D for the weight-reduced Lite models in the Rise series. Thanks to the dense and extremely fine structure of the fabric, both of the polyamide fabrics are extremely tear and abrasion resistant. The double PU coating protects from moisture with a water column of 1500 mm.
600D PES
Woven from 600 denier polyester yarn and with a thick PU coating, this tear resistant and light fabric is highly versatile. Whenever it’s about keeping the weight of the backpack as low as possible with moderate stress, then this is the ideal solution. The “deuter Super Polytex BS” version is produced in compliance with the stringent bluesign® standard. Its features and stress factors are identical.

This hiking backpack for extended hikes comes with our Aircomfort back system featuring our innovative VariClick 5-stage adjustable back length. Shoulder straps anchored directly to the frame deliver improved load transfer, while the padded hip fins distribute the weight evenly. Soft mesh extends down the full length of the back for maximum ventilation performance and a wrapping fit.

Our inspiration came from two well known Outback products: The Hessian Bag and the Coolgardie Safe. Used in the wilds of the Australian Outback, this simple technique is really am evaporative cooling process. Helix Valve: The new mouthpiece is drip-proof and has a water stop tap. The tap is opened by a simple quarter turn. With light pressure, the water flow is activated and flows at a comfortable rate. The integrated spring valve causes the mouthpiece to shut automatically. The “Helix Valve” is easy to take apart and clean.
