The revival of a classic! It was even there when Deuter revolutionised the backpack market in 1984 when introducing the first fully-ventilated back for hiking backpacks – with its much imitated Aircomfort system. Its classic look reminds us of the good old days, but with modern functions.

This polyester fabric is light and robust. Thanks to the RipStop structure, it is far more robust than you would think at first glance. The matte appearance and technical look make it a winner amongst our urban day packs. The fabric is PU coated on the reverse and has a water column of 1500 mm.

Woven from 600 denier polyester yarn and with a thick PU coating, this tear resistant and light fabric is highly versatile. Whenever it’s about keeping the weight of the backpack as low as possible with moderate stress, then this is the ideal solution. The “deuter Super Polytex BS” version is produced in compliance with the stringent bluesign® standard. Its features and stress factors are identical.
